Vintage Sheet Napkin Giveaway

Whew... this weekend has been a whirl wind for me.... Worked Fri all day.. came home loaded up the fam and went to friends house for game night. Got up Sat... Stopped at and Estate sale..(which i will be posting about on my other blog tomorrow, I got some amazing VS:) Went to work, ran errands, came home cleaned and prepared for 7... 11year old girls to arrive for my daughters bday sleep over. Stayed up until 3 am.....(TIRED) Got up and fed kids, cleaned dishes, got ready and took Gwen shopping(ALL DAY)-we had fun. Got home ate dinner with the family, cut my boy's hair, bathed little's- cut Scarlette's finger and toe nails, put littles to bed, hung up a shower curtain and window curtain, paid bills, ate too many red vines, now finally blogging.   

Tomorrow I will get up and post winners and the giveaway for the 21st.. I will be in contact with all winners that have emailed me soon.

I have been collecting and repurposing vintage sheets for years. I have made bags, aprons and napkins to name a few things with my growing stash. With my etsy shop, vintageurbangirl, I sell supplies for others to craft with. I find so many goodies in my travels looking for vintage goods to sell at my brick and mortar shop Green Daffodil Studio that my partner and I run. So, I like to share my finds, since I have a crazy large stack of sheets and pillowcases. I love working with sheets because the fabric is so durable, flexible, and plentiful first off, but hands down the prints just scream to me. I love flowers, bright colors, and the graphic designs of vintage sheets. Like others in this blog my grandma, who is a 105, has been a huge influence on my sewing and to use what is around you. She has always been the queen of repurposing out of necessity, but today it is considered being "Green". I will always have sheets on hand ready for my next project!
