Pillowcase Pencil Skirt Tutorial

This is a darling skirt made from a pillowcase.  Haley of The Zen of Making did not use a vintage pillowcase... but you can! Her tutorial is excellent.

Thanks for sharing Haley.

Heavy sigh. What do you do when you want to make a pencil skirt but you have a extra large crayon figure?!

Hi! My sister, Karen over at Hazel Dell Quilts uses hair clips instead of pins to hold her binding together. Here is a link to her blog demonstrating it: http://hazeldellquilts.blogspot.com/2011/05/plants-and-quilts.html

I haven't tried that yet, but it looks really slick.
I have a friend who machine quilts all her quilts, maybe I will ask her to do a tutorial for you and I. I am not very adept at it either. Her quilt bindings come out great. She is Jeanine at http://igottaquilt.blogspot.com/
