Festive Buntings

According to wikipedia a bunting is a term used to describe a festive decoration made from fabric. Buntings, also known a pennants, garland, or banners are everywhere these days. They are very easy to make with scrap fabrics. They seem to come in every shape and size.

Here are a few from our Flikr group and from around the internet.

Vintage sheets with vintage sheet bias tape. My favorite combination.

I am in love with buntings. I have dozens pinned in Pinterest and I've made several. Most of my buntings are the triangle style

but I've also made some that look like Easter eggs,
gingerbread men,
and hearts.
Several of my buntings have been given as gifts but I also have a different bunting hanging over my kitchen window every month.

Please continue to share your wonderful vintage sheet creations in the Vintage Sheet Blog Flikr group and your gift items in the Vintage Sheet Gift Guide. We will also have another link up party this weekend.
