It's time for another Vintage Sheet Blog Weekend Link Up Party! As mentioned in the last post, I've had baby quilts on my mind. If you've had them on your mind too, then you will love the prize this week. Get your vintage sheet projects ready to link below but first, an introduction of our party sponsor.
Heather Kojan is an awesome lady. Not only do we share the same name but we both love kayaking. :) Heather loves quilting and I'm always impressed with the combinations of vintage sheet patterns and her continued recreation of quilt block classics.
Heather's favorite thing to make out of VS is quilts, especially baby quilts. "I love letting new moms know that they can really be used and abused: crib, car, park ~ all over, and then just thrown in the regular wash. They're virtually indestructible, and get better with age!"
"I love the Vintage Sheet blog, because it lets me see outside the quilt. What a wonderful array of projects being made. My pinterest board is filling up with inspiration. I also love seeing "new" sheet patterns that pop up, and think to myself, "ooh, I'll have to keep an eye out for that one!"
Thanks so much Heather. If anyone is interested in joining Heather's next quilting bee, leave a note for her on her blog or on the Bee Vintage Flickr Group.
Heather is giving away a vintage sheet baby quilt kit. The finished product will be 40" x 40." The kit includes lots of yummy strips of vs fabric plus fabric for the binding. Just add some time at the sewing machine and a backing fabric and you have a great baby quilt to give or keep.
