Topping Off With Vintage Sheets

A few weeks ago we had a round up of vintage sheet skirts. This week we will feature tops made from vintage sheets and pillowcases. They are so cute paired with jeans, shorts, skirts or pants. Vintage sheets are the perfect fabric for a lightweight spring or summer top. Here are some of my favorites:

I love the elbow-length sleeves and bow detail on this one. With all the details, no one would know this one came from upcycled bed linens.

I love the bias trim on this cute pink floral top. The center detail takes it to another level. So cute!

The next two are my favorites.  Actually Amanda had so many amazing vintage sheet tops it was hard choosing which to show you. Love the shirring on the first one and the trim on the one below.

This delicate little cami looks dreamy. In fact, it would be perfect with a little pair of vintage short shorts or pajama bottoms. Love the little bow.

Shirring, ric rac trim, super cute vintage floral print. What's not to love about this one?

Here is a sleeveless option. I like the appliqeud flowers on the solid color sheet.

I love the lace straps on this one. So pretty.

I've shared this vintage sheet tunic on the blog before but I love it! The lace details on the sleeves and hemline are gorgeous.

I love the two different prints on this one and the flutter sleeves and pockets are so cute.

This yellow flower and butterfly top is perfect for spring. Click on the link to see the other cute pillowcase she used.

Love the embroidered border on this one. There's a great tutorial on her site too.

This one comes from a fun blog all about refashioning clothes. Very cool stuff.

Okay, that's it for now. Which one is your favorite? I hope you are inspired to make your own tops from vintage sheets and pillowcases.

I'll have another fun round-up next week and some other fun stuff this week.

These are so inspiring! I love them all, but especially the pink floral tank and the white tunic that incorporated the hem details! Great roundup.

I love them all. Where can I find the patterns?

I really want to get some vintage sheets but finances say otherwise right now. I have checked goodwill in my area but they have nothing. Any ideas?

I am a vintage sheet lover. I just made my daughter and myself tops from one.

When I go thrifting I sometimes come up empty handed then the next time I hit a jackpot. Don't give up & keep your eyes out.
