Vintage Sheet Bags

Vintage Sheet Bags
The first thing I made from vintage sheets was owl bags for my little sisters and niece. They loved the bags and I was hooked on sewing with vintage sheets.

Vintage sheets and pillowcases are great for bags. Not only do they come in many patterns but they are very soft, durable and washable. Here is some inspiration for your next (or first) vintage sheet bag.

Some have Ruffles
green ruffles, white ruffles, pastel ruffles (no source)

Some are Pieced
strip bag, pink squares, patchwork purse
Some are Totes
lunch tote (no source), 3 bags, pink tote
Some Hold A Lot
Star Wars bags, pillow case market bags, yoga bag
Some Hold a Little
striped purse, zipper clutch, yellow flowers
Some Have Flowers
buttercup bag, market bags, delicate tote
Some Have Stripes
green plaid, brown plaid, green check
Are you inspired yet? Which bag is your favorite?
