Vintage Sheets Made Into Beautiful Pillows

A post about vintage sheets and pillows on the Vintage Sheet Blog? Who would have seen this coming? :) Actually, it's pretty amazing how creative people are mixing up vintage sheet fabrics to create unique pillow covers. Take a look at what I found:

All Patched Up

Vintage sheet fabrics are pretty awesome alone but become even more amazing when they are combined. As if having a boa-wearing pink flamingo wasn't cool enough, check out those pretty pillows.

I love the piecing on this one. The floral prints look so pretty against the blue and white stripes.

Good things come in small packages. This is a lovely travel sized pillow.

A modern twist. The grey and white with the yellow vintage sheet fabrics look striking.

source
I love the fresh colors on this one. Yellow and blue are my fav right now.

Chenille and vintage sheets are a match made in heaven. I love how the chenille adds texture in between each of the colorful vintage sheet squares.

Omg, another blue and yellow pieced pillow! I like the funky shape on this one.

There is a whole lot of wonderful in this picture. I love the neutrals combined with the bright vintage sheet fabrics. Each of these is funny but you can probably tell by the title of this post that I have a favorite-the circle one.

We'll end the patchwork series with two masterpieces (get it, pieces?).

Pretty in Pink
Sometimes the prettiest combo is the simplest. I love these pink and white pillows.

I love the technique she used on this one. I don't think anyone would guess it was made from vintage sheets.

This one is pretty straightforward but it is super cute.

A vintage sheet tooth pillow. American kids love to put their lost teeth under their pillow in hopes that the Tooth Fairy will exchange the tooth for money while they sleep.

In the Round
Who says pillows have to be square? Not me.

Here is a great tufted pair in bold, flower prints.

This is a very vintage family heirloom turned into a pillow. Love the  monogram.

One last round cutie. Love the cute pattern she chose.

Mixed Delights

I love the variety of vintage sheet prints all over the world. Sometimes one fabulous print is all you need.

This first stack comes from the UK. Love!

I love the piped edge on this one.

Ruffled Goodness

Ruffles are everywhere these days. Ruffles are even more awesome when they are made from affordable thrifted sheets. We'll end the pillow wrap up with two ruffled pillows.

The first one was created by Vintage Sheet Blog creator, Jennifer. It would look lovely in any room. Click below for her tutorial.

I love the subtlety of this last one. The ruffles look so pretty framing the simple white pillow.

Okay, that is a wrap. I hope that you enjoyed this little vintage sheet pillow round up. Click the links below each picture for more awesomeness from their creators. Many have tutorials.

Now the hard question, which pillow is your favorite?

Lots of beautiful pillows. I have to say I'm quite smitten with the round ones.
