I bought a really cute pair of vintage pillowcases at an estate sale a few weeks ago. It was a hoarder house and the estate people had to put all the linens on a shelving unit in the bathtub. I scored dozens of sheets, towels, and pillowcases from that bathtub.
I made two aprons from the pillowcases this weekend using Betz White's awesome 10 minute apron tutorial.
Betz uses a wide grograin ribbon but I didn't have any that matched my pillowcase. I had a pack of white quilting bias tape. The white looked a little boring by itself so I added some yellow ric rack.
I'm super excited about my new apron. I love the deep pockets and the fun colors. More on what I'm doing with the other apron soon. ;)
What do you think about my new apron?

Amazing finds!
Is there anything softer than a well-loved vintage sheet?
Love, love, love the ric-rack. What a lovely touch!
