My niece's birthday is this Friday and I was put in charge of making her birthday party invitations. It's a sleepover party with some of her best friends. She wanted something special for her invite so of course I thought of vintage sheets. :)
There are 3 parts:
The pillow
I used a pink and white striped flannel stuffed with "Fun Stuff."
The Pillow Case
Of course I used a cute pink and purple vintage sheet to make the little pillowcase. Actually, I made all the little cases with a scrap left over from making fat quarters from a fitted sheet.
The Tag
My sister took care of this part. She made a tag from shiney pink paper, glued on the printed details, and attached a pink button and some ribbon.
They were hand delivered and each girl was super excited about their invitation. They want to use the little pillows for their Monster High Dolls and My Little Ponies.
I didn't have a pattern. My sister made the tags first so I just made the pillowcases and pillows to fit.
I'm also going to be making some favors for the goodie bags, out of vintage sheet of course. Have a great day.
