Easy Last Minute Gifts to Make

With just days until Christmas, it's time to get the get the gifts made. Last year I made six pairs of pajama bottoms. It's hard to top those bottoms but here are a few gift ideas that I'm loving. Not all of the gifts are made using sheets and pillowcases but they are still good inspiration ;)

There are lots of cute apron patterns out there but these look really easy. Easy is good :)

This gorgeous apron from a vintage pillowcase is functional as well as pretty.

This one is super easy. It's no-sew!

And, my favorite easy apron tutorial is the 10 Minute Apron from Betz White. I love the deep pockets.
~Kitchen Towels~

Mary calls this the stay-put kitchen towel, I call it the super-cute kitchen towel. The tutorial has lots of pictures and easy to follow directions.

~Potholder aka Pot Mitts~

I love Cindy's tutorial for making a hybrid of a potholder and oven mitt. She calls it the pot mitt.

With an 11 year-old niece, sisters ages 14, 16, and 30 something, I have a lot of girls in my family. I'm planning on making them headbands but these are cute ideas too.

I love this bunting necklace. Easy birthday gifts, maybe.
Did I ever mention I wear flip flops every day? Well, I do. I love this flip flop makeover idea. Amanda makes fabric rosettes for lampshades, brooches, flip flops, and more.

~Pin Cushions~

I LOVE these pin cushions! Linda shares the tutorial but also sells the kits.

~Bag of Fun~

This is a fun idea. Make drawstring bags and fill with art or sewing supplies, Legos, a spa kit, or whatever.
Okay, time to get crafting. If I don't post on the blog for a few days it's because I'm behind my sewing machine. Happy creating!

Oh my goodness, so many great gift ideas here, but I can't start sewing now or I'll never be ready for Christmas - although my Mum did mention she wouldnt mind another apron......they look quick to run up from a pillow case.
Love the pyjama bottoms!
Have a great Christmas Heather!

I really like those pin cushions. What a great idea! I would put felt on the bottom so they won't scratch the table.
