Getting it together with Vintage Sheets

source
Keeping it together is big challenge for me. Last year I set the goal to organize my time better. I think I'm doing okay with that. In 2013, I want to organize my stuff. I found some really great ideas on getting organized with vintage sheets. I hope that you enjoy them too.

Storing Your Stuff
Storage does not have to look utilitarian and bor-ing. It can but fun and colorful. Here are a few creative ideas for cute organization.

Take a bor-ing fabric bin and cover it with different sheet fabrics. The rosettes are the perfect finishing touch.

And, another version of vintage sheet covered bins.

I love these vintage sheet baskets for storing larger items.

Plastic bags can drive me crazy. I love this stylish way to contain them.

This is a great tutorial for making a laundry hamper from a pillowcase. I think it would also work to store toys.

As long as we are on the subject of laundry, I love these pillowcase garment bags.

I love the idea of covering shelves with vintage sheets.

Storing Your Sheets
I keep all my sheets, pillowcases, and fat quarters in a huge dresser. The bummer is that I can't see them until I open the drawers. I love these ideas for open storage.

This cube unit is so fun. I love the sheets combined with other vintage treasures.

This next idea involves a dresser remade into a fabric storage shelf. Love!

I love this cupboard filled with vintage sheets and vintage wallpapers.

Organizing doesn't always have to be fancy. Here are a few crates stacked with some plastic tubs.

Prepare to be jealous. I love that not only are the shelves filled with sheets but that they are now stacking up on top of the shelves.

I wish I could have a closet full of vintage sheets. I love how the sheets are displayed like they are on bolts at the fabric store.

This little cupboard is so neat and tidy.

My favortie storage solution for vintage pillowcases is Jaime's yellow bird cage. Click on the link to see the rest of Jaime's adorable craft space.

Shwew! That is a lot awesomeness. What is your favorite way to store your bedsheets and pillow cases?

My vintage sheets are currently in our large linen closet in our master bath. It's so pretty every time I open the doors :-)

Wow! Vintage sheets are so pretty all stacked up! I don't really have a dedicated craft space and can't wait for the day when I do again!
