Weekend Link Party With Giveaway

We are very overdue for a Vintage Sheet Blog Weekend Link Party. I hope that you will join the party by linking up a couple of recent projects that you've created with vintage sheets. We have a beautiful handmade prize for a lucky participant.

Our Sponsor
Introducing Sarah, aka Photosarah. Sarah is a talented crafter with a giving heart. Many of her craft projects are created for her family and charity. Here is a little about her in her own words.

I've been using vintage sheets for a few years now since I got into shopping at thrift stores and yard sales and realized how much fabric is in a sheet. I like making aprons, totes, skirts, dreses, and sleep shorts out of vintage sheets and pillowcases.

My favorite thing about the Vintage Sheet Blog is seeing all the different sheets people find and getting inspiration from their projects. I love it when you see a sheet in your stash on another person's blog. I've found sheet twins in New Zealand for sheets I bought in Alabama. And people have commented that the sheets I used to make something were the same as the sheets they had in high school!

I come from a crafty family. My mom is a former quilting instructor who dabbles in a bit of everything, and my grandmother taught me how to crochet. Since starting my blog, Photosarah Crafts, I've been sewing (or crocheting, or knitting) almost daily. I love finding fabric (and vintage sheets) at yard sales because there's always a story there. I enjoy taking old forgotten fabric or unwanted clothes and transforming the pieces into something new.

Our Prize

Sarah made an adorable scalloped tote bag.

All the scallops and the handles are made from vintage sheets.

Blue and yellow is my favorite color combo.

Don't you love it!?!
