Merry Christmas from the Grow Family

Every year on my family blog I post a holiday open house. Well, since I mostly hang out here these days, I'm posting my open house here.

Let's start outside and work our way in. In the front of our home is a wooden nativity, hand-painted by my sister.

Frosty and Rudolph look out the kitchen window.

Our front door is always red but it looks really good at Christmastime.

Okay, let's go inside. The first thing you see when you walk in is my dollhouse that my dad made for me when I was little. It's all decorated for Christmas.

The fake tree forest is in the window between the kitchen and dining room.

I made this felt gingerbread bunting a few years ago. It hangs in our kitchen.

These little corduroy gingerbread people keep us cozy while we watch our Christmas movies. I love Scrooged with Bill Murray.

The entire piano is covered in different nativity scenes. I play Christmas music everyday in December.

My stocking is the angel on the right. They are empty for now. ;)
I like this little snow globe musical nativity.

Frosty holds our Christmas cards.

This is our tree by day. I'm the slacker that waits until the last minute to wrap gifts.

Most of our ornaments are handmade by us our our friends. I love this embroidered "G".

Some of our ornaments are from our travels. I love this clay cable car from San Francisco.

The entire kitchen is filled with Christmas cheer. This is one of the nativities in the cupboard.

I made a couple decorations this year. Snow globe Christmas tree.

And the page made from vintage books.

Little Jesus hangs on my niece's door.

We are not Dutch but we like the tradition of leaving carrots for the reindeer. I bought these slippers it the airport in Amsterdam.

That's it for now. I hope that you and your loved ones have a very Merry Christmas filled with love and good memories.
