Top Gifts That Give Back to Charity

I love making presents for my friends and family. I also love shopping at places that donate money and other resources to help our community and world to be a better place.

I've found 8 wonderful gifts from 8 different companies that support worthy causes.

The Body Shop makes wonderful skin care products that make you feel good on the outside and the inside. The Body Shop is active in defending human and animal rights, supporting free trade, activating self-esteem, and protecting the planet.

On my wishlist this year is the Schoolbook of Peace Gift Set. It comes in a handcrafted box and includes Glazed Apple: Body Butter, Shower Gel, Lip Balm, and Heart Soap. The sale of each set helps provide education to children living in war-torn areas of the world.

You may be familiar with Toms one for one mission to put shoes on a child in need. Additionally, Toms partners with other companies with a helping mission. For example, Fortuned Culture makes jewelry that helps children in Mexico and Ethiopia get an education.

The arrow bracelet is so very cute. It totally works with the tribal style that is popular right now. Each silver eagle eye arrow bracelet helps a child get to school safely for 6 months.

Krochet Kids International works to empower women who live in some of the most poverty stricken places in the world.
There are a few things that I love about the Madeline beret: It's made of bamboo, it comes in 7 different colors,  it's lightweight so I can wear it in California, and like all Krochet Kids products, it's hand-signed by the woman who made it.

Scarlet Threads works to help end world poverty by creating a marketplace for crafts made by artisans living in impoverished communities.

I love their collection of 6 unique hand twisted wire Christmas ornaments. Each ornament is a different color and has a different hanzi symbol including: Grace, Hope, Love, Family, Faith, and Blessing. Treasure them for yourself, give them as a set with the included notecard which explains each symbol, or divide them up for 6 different gifts.

International Princess™ Project’s mission is to create pathways to freedom for women escaping the ravages of sex slavery to achieve lives of hope and dignity.

My bestie is always talking about how much she loves her comfortable, boho style Punjammie pants. They come in a few different lengths and tons of cool patterns.

Della helps provide jobs, training, education, and financial stability to the people in Ghana, West Africa.

I'm loving the Ghanian fabric on their 13" Laptop case. So unique and bold.

Sevenly teams up with different charities throughout the year to bring funding and awareness to amazing causes. Every item purchased from Sevenly gives $7 to the specified charity. Warning, it's addicting. I own 3 Sevenly shirts.

The fun thing about Sevenly is that the stock and causes change every week. The tops and tanks are super soft and always have a a very cool and unique logo. I like this vintage camera print v-neck that gives the gift of a photograph to parents who have lost a newborn.

Mighty Nest sells all kinds of healthy products from glass food storage containers to yoga mats. 15% of each sale goes to support the US school of your choice.

Don't you love amazingly simple inventions that make your life easier? The Piebox is handcrafted of pine and made to accommodate and transport a 9 inch pie. You should also check out the Piebox set that comes with a glass pie plate and a wooden pie server.

Pretty amazing gifts and companies, right? What kind of gifter are you? Do you make gifts or do you try and buy gifts that can make a difference?

Thank you so much for stopping by the Vintage Sheet Blog today. Let's stay in contact. I'd love it if you followed me in some way below.

Thanks for this great list of companies!! I just found out that Toms sells coffee and bought some for a gift this year. It does feel great to give back with a purchase. Two companies I recently found that I really like are Raven & Lily and Ellie Fun Day. Thanks again for coming to Found & Foraged tonight! xo, Laura
